About Me

I am Zoe, aka zotospeak.

I'm a Mum of a very busy little girl and a wife of a very busy little husband. Although none of us are remotely little, in fact we are all very tall!

I have two half cats, one a Tom I purchased and raised and who has now decided he would rather spend the majority of his time living with my neighbour, and the other a little minx who belongs to God-knows-who and demands I feed her every day.

Other than my family my great passions are food and design. I am a reasonable cook but don't be fooled - I can't design. I just like to BUY it and READ about it and DEVOUR fashion and design blogs and magazines. If I'm not cooking, shopping or dreaming in my spare time you'll find me reading, anything and everything.

I try not to take life too seriously. When all else fails, laugh.

For about five minutes in a former life I was a teacher.

I speak terrible French and write fairly mediocre English but I do LOVE to write and try to inject some humour and personality into it.

When I'm not writing on here I'm writing copy elsewhere.
